Equal Opportunities Officer Career and family

Reconciling family and career is a key focus of the work of the Equal Opportunities Officer under the Equal Opportunities Act (ChancenG) of Baden-Württemberg. The aim is to create equal conditions for women and men so that they can pursue career opportunities and fulfill family responsibilities.

The Equal Opportunities Officer supports employees who, in addition to their jobs, take on responsibilities in the family and in caring for relatives. The aim is to reduce disadvantages and create better conditions. 

This includes flexible working time models, information and advice, and raising awareness among employers of the special challenges faced by caregivers. In this way, equal opportunities work helps to ensure that caregiving and work remain compatible – for women and men alike
