Caregivers' meeting
This self-help group discussion offers those affected the opportunity to talk to each other about the difficulties and possibilities of their personal care situation, and encourages voluntary, independent networking. The meeting is moderated by the equal opportunities officer, who is herself a trained care guide and MHFA helper. Care guides from the host institution are also present. (DKFZ/Pflege Schönau) Specific questions about organizational, financial, and legal aspects, as well as mental health, can be addressed, but the focus is on exchange.
